A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
The Seasonal Field Pipe Fitter is a challenging role which has the responsibility of performing field piping activities for various mods / upgrades / repairs. In this role you will be part of a team that is executing Piping and Auxiliary related work scopes across CT's, Steam and Nuclear Siemens-Energy Power Plants.
Seasonal Work Schedule: Work mainly during high outage times (Spring and Fall). You are guaranteed a set amount of yearly hours depending on which tier you choose. You are still eligible for benefits, PTO and more
How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities) - Responsible for Safety, Quality and Schedule in that order
- Work with onsite Field Engineers and Leads for completion of onsite work scopes.
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of Pipe Fitting including bending, measuring, and complex fitting of various pipe sizes / dimensions.
- Ability to Weld is a plus
What You Bring (requirements) - high school diploma/GED equivalent experience is a plus
- 5+ years of pipe fitting experience - Candidates with more experience will be considered at a higher level.
- Ability to travel 75% during peak season
- P&ID, Ability to read / interpret drawings is a plus

Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests as required to perform the duties.
