Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement process for our luxury custom home projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure projects meet budget and timeline requirements while achieving exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for luxury custom home projects
• Conduct cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and budget adherence
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms
• Manage the supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of construction materials
• Oversee vendor management to maintain strong relationships and quality assurance
• Perform market research to identify new suppliers and materials that enhance project quality
• Collaborate with project managers to align purchasing decisions with project timelines and specifications
• Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement budgets effectively
• Ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the luxury home construction industry
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and vendor management
• Experience with quality assurance and construction materials
• Excellent project management and budgeting skills
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry trends
• Strong relationship management capabilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with luxury home design principles
