Job Description

Our client, Saint-Gobain, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Production team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong machining and production experience that will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title:  CNC Machines 

• Location: Worcester, MA.
• Pay Range: 26/hr - weekly pay
• Shift : Nights (21:00PM -05:30AM)

What’s the Job?

• Operate CNC machines in automatic/semi-automatic modes.
• Set up and operate CNC, NC, and some manual machines (lathes, mills, drills, grinders).
• Follow clear work orders and blueprints to determine tooling, setup, and machining steps.
• Select correct tools, materials, feeds, and speeds based on part requirements.
• Use measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, gauges) to verify dimensions.
• Perform basic cutter compensation adjustments and repetitive production machining.
• Inspect own work with minimal supervision.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma/GED.
• 2+ years machining experience or technical school/apprenticeship.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of raw materials (metals, alloys, aluminum, etc.) and machining parameters.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely around machinery, noise, and metal chips.
