Overview As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. You supervise staff, implement operational procedures, and maintain high standards of customer service. Park Assistant Managers are the primary contact between guests and Kids Empire, responsible for guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing questions or comments from guests while present at Kids Empire. You must interact with families and children of all ages. Essential Job Functions Attending to guests promptly, greeting them, and making them feel comfortable in the park ambiance. Supervise employees to ensure performance of duties and achievement of production goals. Assist the Park Manager with training, development, and auditing. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff. Audit schedules and request approvals from the Park Manager. Open and close the park using keys or a code. Communicate guest or employee issues to the Park Manager. Operate the check-in process by having guests sign liability waivers and collect guest information via an iPad. Operate the front cash counter, manage daily cash flow, process payments (cash or card), and provide exact change when needed. Verify billing transactions via the POS system. Organize and stock beverages, snacks, chips, and ice cream; check inventory and reorder from vendors as needed. Walk the floor to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests follow park rules and guidelines. Clean restrooms and sanitize park structures (tables, chairs, playground equipment). Schedule and coordinate family events and assist events to operate efficiently. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly. Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity. Work in noisy environments with children and music. Handle a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours. Work in a structured environment and be comfortable with heights. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Work weekends and holidays. Able to work with children. Operate an iPad and perform basic POS functions. Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. Leadership and strong organizational skills. Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment and prioritize guest satisfaction. Commitment to safety and emergency preparedness.
