Construction Manager & Business Partner to oversee field operations and help deliver exceptional results to our clients.
Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Construction Manager & Business Partner with strong project management skills, a passion for the construction process, a highly detailed eye for quality and process, and a growth mindset. This role focuses entirely on estimating and bidding jobs, managing field operations, supervising crews, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. You will be limitedly involved in sales or back-office work-allowing you to focus on what you do best: managing high-quality builds.
Ideal candidates may currently own their own construction business but are looking to transition into a role that eliminates the hassle of paperwork, administrative duties, and client acquisition. With us, you'll receive a
competitive salary ranging from
$120,000 to $160,000 per year and profit-sharing, letting you enjoy the benefits of business ownership without the overhead.
Profit sharing can range from
$20,000 to $100,000+ based on the overall profitability of the projects and the office. Candidates with skills & experience for larger more complex projects will enable higher revenue and larger profit. The sky really is the limit to earning and we want to grow!
Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day field operations for residential remodeling projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite staff, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with our project management team.
- Conduct site inspections, address onsite issues, and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate with clients and designers as needed to address project-specific details and ensure satisfaction.
- Implement and uphold company safety protocols, quality standards, and best practices.
- Prepare bid packages, obtain bids, and help estimate project costs
Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Existing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- You may have your own trade crew(s) or employee(s) to add to the team
- Self-starter who thrives in a field-focused role.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow yourself and your team.
- Licensed contractor or construction management certification preferred.
- Resides within 30 minutes of Hermosa Beach
