Job Description

Established criminal defense law firm, seeking one (1) FULL-TIME attorney in Kern and surrounding counties. You will be assigned entire cases with the help of the firm or expected to cover certain cases. Cases will be misdemeanors to serious felonies. Must have solid experience working on criminal cases with the ability to handle a criminal case from start to finish.

- 5+ years of criminal law experience, plus an assortment of contested motions in California;
- Familiarity with DUI and vehicle-related crimes (including DMV APS Hearings);
- Ability to self-structure and independently manage their cases from the onset though completion;
- Poised, polished, and professional in appearance, courtroom demeanor, and work product;
- Action-oriented, accountable and driven to zealously defend clients (no matter what the facts of the case);
- Enthusiastic about working with a large client base;
- Eager to appear in any courthouse.
