Join Our Team as an Assistant Store Leader!

We are excited to find an enthusiastic Assistant Store Leader who will support store operations, enhance customer service, and foster team development. Your contributions will be vital to our success! Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in managing daily store functions and activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Engage customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to the stockroom and sales floor while maintaining seasonal displays.
  • Perform essential opening and closing store procedures as needed.
  • Execute corporate directives effectively, including managing Pull and Hold/Destroy tasks and Task Compliance.
  • Keep promotional displays and fixtures organized and appealing to customers.
  • Assist in the ordering and processing of merchandise, maintaining inventory records, payroll, scheduling, and implementing loss prevention strategies.
  • Ensure a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to meet company standards.
  • Secure all company assets, including cash, and uphold safety and policy adherence.
  • Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store associates.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and respectful work environment through professional and friendly interactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, cleaning floors, and taking out trash.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.

Skills and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and understand operational directives is required.
  • Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management is preferred.

You should also be physically capable of lifting up to 55 lbs, and enjoy frequent walking, standing, and other physical activities.

You will need to possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A positive, energetic attitude towards teamwork is essential!
