\nJob Overview
\nThe Assistant Manager, Asset Protection, supports the Asset Protection Manager, My Macy’s initiatives, Omnichannel strategies, and the We Care Service Model through actively managing a team of direct reports. They identify shortage results and causes, developing programs and procedures to reduce shortage. Other duties are performed as assigned.
\nWhat You Will Do
\nSkills You Will Need
\nProblem Identification and Solution Development: Identify shortage results and causes; collaborate with AP Manager/Store Manager to formulate preventive action plans; initiate new programs and procedures to reduce shortage through training and development.
\nCase Management and Investigation: Manage and monitor internal and external case productivity and recoveries; participate in theft investigations; assist with surveillance and apprehensions.
\nTime Management and Prioritization: Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, effectively plan, and execute strategies.
\nLeadership and Adaptability: Exhibit strong leadership qualities, ability to build partnerships, excellent time management skills; work independently or as part of a team; adapt quickly to changing priorities; demonstrate commitment to the highest integrity and professional business standards.
\nInterpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective communication and collaboration with diverse groups of customers, peers, and stakeholders.
